Zionist Barbarism in Palestine and Lebanon, Crossroad of the Middle East - online forum

On Saturday, October 5, the International Socialist League (ISL), the League for the Fifth International (L5I), and the International Trotskyist Opposition (ITO) held an online forum called "Zionist Barbarism in Palestine and Lebanon, Crossroad of the Middle East."

Alejandro of the ISL chaired. Ali of the ISL-Lebanon gave a moving report from the front lines on the suffering and heroic resistance of the Palestinian and Lebanese people under attack by Israel.

Peter of Workers Power, the British section of the L5I, gave an overview based on the joint statement on the new Israeli genocide signed by the ISL, the L5I, and the ITO: Palestine solidarity, anticapitalist revolution, and building a revolutionary International.

Peter of the ITO-US addressed the link between US imperialism and Israel and how to weaken it in the short term and break it in the long term through workers' and popular struggles in the Arab world, the US, and, as the Zionist project failed, in Israel.

Pablo of the Workers Socialist Movement (MST), the Argentinean section of the ISL, further explained the perspective of the joint statement and called for solidarity and building a revolutionary alternative.
